Why most hollywood movie this day only show airforce and not other branch?
Any opinion from servicemen/woman and civilian?
Some movie nothing to do with plane like eagle eye, transformer (all combat unit are airforce wtf?), terminator 3, etc…
I am taking about recent last 5 years not last 50 years moron.

The Air Force has had a reputation for being the "sissies" of the US military and they are trying to fix that

Its either that or WW2 movies haha and I am sick and tired of WW2 movies. Theres like one that comes out every month.
Best movie I’ve seen about the Army though is Black Hawk Down now that was a good movie. True story too.

Because planes are fast, cool, action-packed, and most people care more about that then a slow moving tank, or a big ol’ boat on the ocean, etc.

Naval combat films are harder to film. Ground combat films used to be dominant but in the jet age audiences have fallen in love with the romanticism of jet fighters. It’s all the excitement and drama of a ground combat film but with less gore, perfect for the PG-13 crowd.

Excuse me? I have seen many movies about all of the services. I mean, after all, Platoon, Apocalypse Now, Top Gun, and Full Metal Jacket are all about the USAF, right? walk on!
In fact, the last movie I can remember about the USAF was "Strategic Air Command," with General Jimmy Stewart. LMAO

HBO has done Generation Kill… There was another just last year, about black troops in Italy during WW2, James Bond is actually a Naval Officer (if you want to count) I am Legend was about an Army Doctor.
