Vince Vaughn is an interesting actor. He is hilarious, however I think it would be wrong to call him a comedian. I have seen his stand-up before, and I found it underwhelming. In movies, however, he is absolutely hilarious. Maybe because he usually plays a role that seems to be reflective of his every day self. Regardless of the reason, he has had some great films.
But what are his best films? Here are some of my favorite Vince Vaughn films ever.
The first movie that I will mention on this list is Dodge Ball: A True Underdog Story. It is not my favorite comedy in recent memory, but it is pretty darn funny. Vaughn plays the manager of a gym that is going under, unless they can win prize money from a dodge ball tournament. Funnier than it sounds.
Wedding Crashers is another movie that I definitely have to put on this list. Something about Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn together just works. The back and forth banter between these two is hilarious. I can only wish for a sequel.
It goes without saying that Into The Wild deserves to be mentioned. This was an odd role for Vince Vaughn; he was not advertised as being in the movie, but when I saw him on screen, I didn’t complain. Emile Hirsch is excellent as the lead.
One of Vince Vaughn’s best movies of all time is definitely Old School. This is the Animal House of the modern age, and one of my favorite comedies in recent memory. This movie also stars Will Ferrell and Luke Wilson.
Finally, no list of Vince Vaughn films would be complete without mentioning Swingers. This is another classic comedy that happens to star Jon Favreau, Ron Livingston, Vaughn and Heather Graham.
Hopefully there are one or more films from Vince Vaughn on this list that you have not yet seen.

When it comes to the funniest actors out there right now, one person who has to be mentioned is Paul Rudd. Guys seem to like him and girls definitely love him. Paul Rudd has been showing up in virtually every good comedy to come out in the past few years, and shows no sign of slowing down any time soon.
This article will discuss what I consider to be Paul Rudd’s funniest films thus far in his career.
The first movie that I will mention is Role Models. This movie stars Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott as a duo of troublemaking adults, who end up having to enroll in the big brothers little brothers program in order to avoid jail time. Hilarity ensues.
Another movie that stars Paul Rudd that is definitely one of my favorites is Clueless. This is a classic 1990s film and a role that Paul Rudd himself probably is not proud of. He actually plays a serious role in this film, for a change.
Another great movie that Paul Rudd appears in is Wet Hot American Summer. This movie is somewhat of a cult classic; anyone you know who has seen this movie probably loves or hates it. It’s a very specific type of humor.
While he was not the main star, one movie that featured Paul Rudd that I absolutely loved was Forgetting Sarah Marshall. This film stars Jason Segal, Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis and Russell Brand, and also has great roles from Rudd and Jonah Hill, amongst others. This is easily one of my favorite comedies of the past few years.
One other great film that I have to include on this list is The 40 Year Old Virgin. This Judd Apatow directed comedy was one of the surprise hits when it came out. This movie also stars Steve Carell, Catherine Keener and Romany Malco.
So these are most of Paul Rudd’s funniest and enjoyable films to date. There is no doubt that there will be others to add to this list in the next few years.

Compiling a list of the greatest Ridley Scott films of all time is no easy task. For decades, Sir Ridley Scott has been behind the lens of some of the greatest movies to come out of Hollywood. Mr. Scott is not bound by any genre; he tends to stray toward action and adventure, but he is willing to try anything.
This article will highlight and discuss what I consider to be the best Ridley Scott films of his illustrious career.
One of the most iconic films that Ridley Scott directed was without a doubt, Thelma and Louise. This film starred Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon as the renegades Thelma and Louise, respectively. If you haven’t seen this film and are a fan of either of these actresses, you must.
One movie that definitely makes the list of the best Ridley Scott movies is Black Hawk Down. In my opinion, Black Hawk Down is right up there with Saving Private Ryan as my favorite war film of the last 15 years or so.
If you are a fan of Ridley Scott movies, then you have to be a fan of Gladiator. This very well may be his best movie ever, and it was well deserving of the Best Picture Oscar that it won. This movie spurned a revival in Roman gladiator genre films, but none of the others came close to repeating its brilliance.
Another iconic film from the great Ridley Scott is Blade Runner. This movie set the precedent for many of the great science fiction films that we have come to love today. This is also one of Harrison Ford’s best roles in my opinion.
American Gangster was also an incredible Scott film. This movie starred Denzel Washington as the true life gangster Frank Lucas, who became one of the more powerful men in the country during the 1960s.
Hopefully there are one or more films from the great Ridley Scott in this article that you have yet to see.

It is always interesting to come across an actor who, while extremely talented, takes a while to work his way up to widespread acclaim. One such actor is Philip Seymour Hoffman. For about 20 years, Hoffman has appeared in many movies but hasn’t necessarily starred in them. I guess you can say he has had his big break, and now has the freedom to choose whichever roles he wants.
Here are my top five favorite films that star or feature Philip Seymour Hoffman in a leading or supporting role.
The first movie I will discuss is a rather dark film and was released on a smaller scale, as many of his films often are. Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead is a difficult film to get through, but Hoffman’s acting is nothing short of top notch.
While the Mission Impossible movies rarely get acclaim, I felt that Hoffman did an amazing role as the villain the third installment of this franchise. He was scary, ruthless and evil.
Another great film that features Philip Seymour Hoffman is The Invention of Lying. Hoffman plays a bartender in this Ricky Gervais comedy. This movie takes place in a world where lying does not exist, and people are ruthlessly truthful.
If you like Spike Lee movies, then one movie worth checking out is 25th Hour. In fact, this might be my favorite Spike Lee movie of all. Philip Seymour Hoffman plays a conflicted teacher in this dramatic film.
While I did not love Capote as a film, you have to give credit where credit is due. Philip Seymour Hoffman knocked it out of the park with his portrayal of the lead character and it came as no surprise when he won best actor at the Academy Awards.
These are just some of the great films starring the ever so talented Philip Seymour Hoffman.
