The Bolt Movie is directed by Chris Williams and Byron Howard and it is produced by Clark Spencer. The music has been rendered by John Powell and just as usual, he has taken the audience entirely to his side with his musical wand.
This film boasts of many different renowned musical people who have made their presence in this project. John Travolta is the hero of all and he is the one who sings and speaks for the hero of this movie Bolt on whom the movie story line is based on.
The story of the movie Bolt is around a cute little German shepherd who has his entire livelihood in a TV-show set, where he earns a name of Bolt – the super dog, who is known to possess some remarkable super powers. As he was pampered as a hero right from his days of childhood, he starts thinking himself to be a real hero. But, it dawns to him only when he is shipped off to New York where he is treated just as an ordinary dog amongst many other dogs. Later Mittens and Rhino become his best friends. Rhino is a hamster and he is completely obsessed by TV shows and he himself is a big fan of bolt and Mittens is a cynical house cat.
Later Mittens and Rhino befriend him and some to his rescue. Mittens are a cynical home cat and Rhino is a Hamster who is always pre occupied with the TV shows and he himself is a big fan of Bolt. All the three friends join hands and they try to find a way out to send Bolt back to his own home town. In this process, Bolt happens to undergo a many hindrances. Bolt then prepares him to face all the odds and in the process transforms him into a better being and this is the most touching part of the story.

Stories about friendship tend to be stories that children take with them throughout their lives. One such story is Disneys BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA. The story revolves around two 12-year-old friends who create a world they can escape to — a world of their own. This virtual kingdom was stunningly depicted by the conceptual artist Dima Malanitchev and brought tot life by the effects wizards at Weta Digital. The director, Csupo, insisted the look and feel of the fantastic elements be realistic and keeping in line with a greater sense of subtlety.
A key facet of BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA is the depiction of a friendship that spans across reality and the veil between this world and another. This film version of the beloved childrens novel of the same name was widely acclaimed for its authenticity. Some critics had feared the film would bypass some of the novels more somber plot devices, but to the credit of director Gabor Csupo, the film tastefully and poignantly involves every facet of the novel.
Adapted for the screen by David Paterson, the son of the novels author, Katherine Paterson, the script provides a marvelous platform for the realization of a great film. It was faithfully adapted and lovingly brought to life. With only a few minor adjustments for the visual nature of the medium, the film is a shining example of how a novel should and could be adapted for the screen. This is in no small way an indication of both Csupo and Patersons dedication to the tenements of the novel.
This is a film that can be enjoyed by audiences both young and old. The film was lauded with critical acclaim, box office glory, and a series of prestigious awards. Indeed, this triple accomplishment is no small feat and is reflective of the brilliance of Csupos direction. Completed for $20 million, the film garnered more than $120 million worldwide, designating it as something of a rarity: a hit. The film virtually swept the Young Artist Awards, sponsored by the prestigious Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
Indeed, as another of its taglines suggests: close your eyes, but keep your mind wide open. Shot in Auckland, New Zealand, the film balances the realities of everyday life and the imaginative world created by its characters. Jesse Aarons, played by Josh Hutcherson, and Leslie Burke, played by AnnaSophia Robb are the friends at the center of this luminous story. These relative newcomers provide a convincing and moving portrait of young friendship and possibly the budding of young love.

The adaptation of the novel series of The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants continues in the sequel The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants-2. The movie is mainly based on the fourth book of the series, Forever in Blue: Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood besides some connections to the second and third book. America Ferrera, Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel happen to be four real life friends who continue to do their roles in the second edition of the movie. The journey towards adulthood which began in the first movie is continued here. The characters played by the above actors go by the names Lena Kaligaris, Carmen Lowell, Tibby Tomko-Rollins and Bridget Vreeland.
These four friends do not lose touch with their friends in spite of being sent away to different colleges where they begins their lives. They still share all their landmark experiences amongst each other with the same vigor and humor. They separately learn more about each of theirs strengths and weaknesses which takes their friendship to another level. They all realize how unique their friendship is and decide to appreciate it even more.
Several changes take place in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants-2 movie compared to its predecessor. Viewers will learn that Bridget returns to her soccer camp as a coach. It is revealed in the beginning that Lena and Kostas have been going out for quite sometime until Lena decided to put an end to their relationship. Tibby and McBrian think of Bailey quite often and thus began to grow closer. Eventually the two of them end up dating. Carmens mother has married again to a man called David. All the four girls were off to different colleges with Lena being awarded a scholarship at Rhode Island School of Design, which she gladly accepted. Tibby decided to major in film at NYU, Bridget joined the soccer team of Brown University and Carmen had been admitted to Yale University.
Disappointment cannot be avoided when the first movie was so good compared to the second, as many critics say. The same thing that was appealing in the first movie is now stale in the second.
