Story goes that Vlad Tepes didn’t impale his enemies only. Story goes that he impaled a whole lot of his own people, made it look like a whole wood of impaled people. The Turks got so scared by the sight that they ran away – thinking if he is so cruel to his own people who knows what he’ll do to us…
Compared to the real thing – Dracula horror movies are pussy stuff. What Vlad did to people is beyond Hollywood’s censorship filters…

Well, in regard to confirmed cases of “slight psychic activity”, every one of said results was well within the boundries of chance. IE a tested individual scoring slightly higher than “pure chance” doesn’t mean they are psychic. I’m sure that you’ve heard the old saying about a thousand monkeys with typewriters? The human mind is amazing, but “psychics” have only been around since after they first started appearing in fiction, as I’m sure you know, Did a whoel paper on this some years ago lol.

Hi, just to put in my two cents worth: I agree with your arguments except this one: While the jury is still out, I believe, on the whole “psychic vampire” notion that was popularised by Konstantinos, there have been confirmed cases of psychic activity, however slight.

We cannot know everything, particularly about the human mind/brain, of which we know we are using only a tiny portion to date (opening myself wide to insults here). Best to – pardon the pun – keep an open mind.

Well, actually Vlad Tepes didn’t eat his enemies – most of whom were Turkish invaders at the time – but merely enjoyed feasting on the battlefield watching their slow and painful death after having them impaled. Hence “The Impaler”. There are unconfirmed legends that he also drank the occasional pint of blood from his enemies (which is why Stoker chose him for the ideal candidate in his story), but those rumours are not substantiated.

Fantastic movie except for the ending. The book’s ending was a hell of a lot more dramatic and entertaining that “he got caught while the sun was out.” Still, a worthy adaptation.

I watched this in my film studies course with the lights out after oen two many joints.

It’s amazing how beautiful this film is, nearly a hundred years on.

No, no you cannot be psychic. every single “psychic vampire” that has undergone testing has been proven to be a liar.

Also, blood is an absoloutely stupid way to gain nourishment, learn2science.

you are in no way superhuman, and you’ll realise this later in life when reality sets in.

Human beings are special enough, stop feelign the need to pretend to be “better” in some way.
