Ok call me a pessimist, vote me down if you want, but there have been dozens of movies like this. I’m only 32 but I’ve already heard this message countless times and every time there’s big group of people who say “This time we’re going to do it different.” and a few weeks later hardly anyone remembers.
Anyone remember saving the rain forest? Protecting endangered species? The oceans? All of those things are still going downhill faster every year. At least 80% of people just don’t care.

The only comforting part of that is that the planet will go on long after we’re gone. We might wipe out ourselves but nature will find a way to restore the balance and humanity won’t have been much more than a bad rash

They tell people to turn your tv off standby and to turn your lights off after youve used them….
…what about Las Vegas! It’s lit up all night everynight, plus tokyo! Whats the point, turning off your standy light isnt going to save the world, it isnt even going to help it…
